O Grande Patriarca Benedetto,
Tu che fosti il primo assertore
dell’unità e della civiltà d’Occidente,
guarda benigno i Tuoi Figli che nella
FEDERAZIONE ITALIANA DEI COMBATTENTI ALLEATI,
desiderano essere missionari di Pace,
di Fraternità Cristiana e di Solidarietà.
Ricordando i sacrifici della trincea,
le nostre mutilazioni, i nostri morti,
noi vogliamo gridare al mondo,
l’ora della Pace, della Concordia, dell’Unità.
Non più guerre fratricide e devastatrici,
ma fraternità in nome del Signore Gesù.
che ha sofferto e morì per il bene dell’umanità.
L’Europa Unita, di cui Tu sei il Protettore,
sia il nostro primo traguardo, la nostra speranza.
Fa che la CROCE D’EUROPA che non portiamo,
sia come il Tuo Pastorale benedicente.
Il Tuo “ora et labora”
sia il motto delle nostre genti.
Invocaci dal Signore la fede che non vacilla,
affinché Dio sia tutto in tutti,
avendo brama di dissolverci
e di ritrovarci con Cristo.

Oh! grand patriarche Benoit
Toi qui fus le premier champion
de l'unité et de la civilisation d'occident,
regarde avec faveur tes fils qui dans
la Federation Italienne des Combattents Alliés,
veulent devenir missionnaires de paix,
de fraternité chrétienne et de solidarieté.
Nous rappelant les sacrifices de la tranchée,
nos blessés, nos morts,
nous désironscrier au monde entier
l'heure de la paix, de la concorde, de l'unité,
plus de guerres fratricides et dévoratrices,
mais fraternité au nom du Seigneur Jésus.
Que l'Europe dont tu es le Protecteur
soit notre but principal, notre espoir,
fais que la Croix d'Europe que nous portons
soit comme Ta crosse bénissante.
Que ton "Prière et Travail"
soit la devise de nos peuples.
Obtiens nous, du Seigneur, une foi inébranlable
afin que Dieu soit tout pour nous tous
qui aspirons à nous dissoudre
pour nous retrouver avec le Christ.

of the European Confederation of Servicemen,
wish to become missionaires of peace,

Recalling former sufferings in combat,
our wounded and our dead,
we wish to proclaim to the whole world
the hour of concord unity and peace.
No more fratricidal, devastating wars,
but brotherhood in the name of Our Lord, Jesus.
May a united Europe, under your protection,
be our hope, our goal supreme.
May the Cross of Europe that we bear,
be, like your bishop's staff, a source of grace.
May your motto "Work and pray"
be proclaimed throghout thr world.
May God grant us, through ypur intercession,
unwavering faith,
so that He may become All for all of us
who long to be delivered from our bondage her on Earth,
and find our unity in Christ.

missionare sein wollen für den Frieden,
fur christliche Brüderlichkeit und Solidarität.
Wie wir uns der Opfer der Schützengraben,
der Verstümmelten und der Toten erinnen,
so wollen wir der Welt die Stunde der Friedens,
der Eintracht und der Einheit zurufen
Keine Bruderkriege un keine Verwüstungen mehr,
sondern Brüderlichkeit in Jesus Namen.
Europa, dessen Beschützer Du bist,
sei unser grosses Ziel un unsere Hoffnung.
Lass das Europakreuz, das wir tragen,
wie Dein segnender Hirtenstab sein.
Dein "Bete und Arbeite"
sei das Motto unserer Völker.
Bitten den Herrn, dass unsere Treue nie wanken möge,
auf dass Gott Alles für uns alle sei
